Home-Start Gosport & Fareham is an independent charity and Company Limited by Guarantee with Trustees being responsible for directing the management and administration of the charity. Trustees have a wide range of roles but are primarily responsible for making the charity effective, providing overall direction and maintaining sound management of funds.
Trustees need to be able to attend regular meetings approximately once every two months and also be able to devote time outside those meetings to support the charity in delivering its vision.
Home-Start Gosport & Fareham needs Trustees with a variety of skills and experience and from a wide range of backgrounds. Being a Trustee can be hard work, but it is also very rewarding, giving many chances for personal development and the chance to give something back to your local community. Trustees can access training and support from the Home-Start UK dedicated team of specialist consultants and there are opportunities to network with Trustees from other schemes in the region.
Without volunteer Trustees Home-Start Gosport & Fareham couldn’t function and both families and children wouldn’t get the support they need.
